ABOUT THE ROLE KanPak is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse and shipping operations while maintaining the highest standards for safety, quality, inventory control, and team performance. This role plays a critical part in supporting production, meeting customer requirements, and driving continuous improvement across warehouse operations. WHAT YOU’LL DO Responsibilities Related to the Job: Coordinate GSF Quality activities and operations to meet objectives for quality, food safety, regulatory compliance, cost, safety, and customer satisfaction at KanPak. Participate in formulating and administering division’s short- and long-range goals and objectives for business growth. Lead and coordinate daily warehouse and shipping operations to ensure customer orders are received, scheduled, produced, and loaded accurately, on time, and at the lowest possible cost. Schedule shifts and assign tasks based on workload and staffing needs. Monitor employee attendance and punctuality; address issues promptly and fairly in accordance with company policies. Communicate effectively with Production and Quality teams regarding quality, inventory, or production issues. Coordinate load out schedules with internal distribution teams and external carriers to support on time shipments and receiving. Maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment in compliance with company policies and all state and federal regulations. Ensure full adherence to quality assurance standards, including good housekeeping and overall cleanliness of products and work areas. Monitor cooler inventory daily to ensure proper rotation, coding accuracy, and full traceability. Ensure all inventory transactions—including shipments, donations, losses, and damages—are recorded accurately and timely. WHAT YOU’LL NEED High School Diploma or equivalent (required) Associate’s degree (required) Minimum of five (5) years of experience in distribution, warehouse, or manufacturing environments Ability to complete OSHA 10 certification within 30 days of employment Specialized training or certification in Warehouse Supervision or Operations Experience working in food manufacturing or aseptic processing environments Strong oral and written communication skills Proven leadership, coaching, and team development abilities Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Demonstrated ability to collaborate as part of a leadership team Working knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations, and safety standards Experience fostering an employee focused culture centered on quality, accountability, and continuous improvement THE SCHEDULE & SETTING Shift: Must be flexible to work weekends and overtime Work performed in a warehouse environment with material handling, forklift operation, and frequent physical activity Days: Run 24/7 Work Environment: Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs PAY & BENEFITS Pay Range: $69,000/yr - $74,000/yr Other Compensation: May include overtime and shift premiums depending on schedule Health and Wellness: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, FSA, EAP, and voluntary insurance options Retirement Benefits: 401(k) Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, sick time, and paid company holidays in accordance with policy and laws WHY JOIN US Golden State Foods (GSF) is one of the largest diversified suppliers in the food industry, manufacturing a range of products including sauces, dressings, condiments, syrups, and toppings for leading restaurant and retail brands.
