ICU/Critical Care RN in Rochester, New York, 14642! Job Title:
Level 2 Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty:
Neuromusculoskeletal Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating shifts
(Days, Evenings, Nights) Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Two
years of experience required License: RN License (New York ONLY)
Certifications: BLS, ACLS (preferred), NIHSS (preferred) Must-Have:
- Stepdown/PCU experience - High acuity stroke and neurosurgery
experience - Telemetry experience Description: The Level 2
Registered Nurse is accountable for providing competent care based
on established standards. The Level 2 Registered Nurse may assume
an expanded role, which includes charge nurse, preceptor, and
committee member responsibilities. Experience in high acuity
settings including neuro checks, external ventricular drains,
lumbar drains, sub-dural drains, and cardene drips is required.
Experience with arterial lines, carotid endarterectomy, aneurysm
coil/clips, deep brain stimulators, VP shunts, and seizure
management is needed. BLS from the American Heart Association is
required. Telemetry experience is a requirement. ACLS certification
is highly desired. NIHSS certification is preferred. Candidates
must possess two years of relevant experience in a stepdown or
