We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring surgeries run smoothly and efficiently.

*Responsibilities*
* Prepare operating rooms for surgery
* Set up surgical instruments and equipment
* Assist the surgical team during procedures
* Maintain a sterile field throughout the surgical procedure
* Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons during surgery
* Monitor and manage patient vital signs during surgery
* Handle specimens for laboratory analysis
* Adhere to infection control protocols
* Assist with patient transport within the facility

*Requirements*
* Certification as a Surgical Technologist
* Proficiency in using Epic or similar electronic medical records systems
* Knowledge of medical-surgical procedures and terminology
* Experience working in an operating room (OR) setting
* Familiarity with suture techniques and wound closure
* Understanding of infection control practices
* Previous experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center or Level I Trauma Center is a plus
* Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Pay: $48.00 - $50.03 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
