We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated IR Neuro Radiology Tech to join our team in Rochester, NY. As an IR Neuro Radiology Tech, you will work in a fast-paced environment, conducting diagnostic imaging procedures in support of patient diagnosis and treatment. Your primary focus will be on neuro interventional radiology, utilizing imaging techniques to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological conditions

*Key Responsibilities of the Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist: *

As a valued member of our team, your duties will include:
* Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures, primarily focusing on neuro radiology.
* Operate and maintain complex imaging equipment, ensuring accuracy and precision in capturing images.
* Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
* Administer contrast agents and medications as required for specific imaging procedures.
* Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging techniques and ensure accurate diagnosis.
* Review patient medical history and discuss procedural details with patients to address any concerns or questions they may have.
* Ensure the cleanliness and sterility of imaging equipment and procedure rooms.
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures, including patient history, equipment settings, and image results.
* Stay up-to-date with industry advances and continuing education to ensure knowledge and skills are current.

*Requirements of the Interventional Radiology Technologist: *

*To qualify, candidates must have:*
* BLS Certification
* NY License
* 2 years of experience as a Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist
