seeking a detail-oriented Operator Inspector to join our Plastic
Injection Molding team. In this role, quality is paramount—you will
be responsible for ensuring that every molded component meets the
highest cosmetic and handling standards. The ideal candidate will
demonstrate precision in material handling, keen attention to
detail in defect inspection, and consistency in production output,
while also supporting the productivity of the machinery. You Will:
Perform in-process cosmetic inspections of molded lenses
immediately after molding or degating, ensuring they meet strict
quality requirements. Maintain the productivity of the molding
machinery by monitoring output, handling components efficiently,
and supporting smooth machine operation. Safely handle and package
molded lenses by removing them from machine conveyors and placing
them accurately into trays or WIP storage carts without damage.
Collaborate with team members to identify, communicate, and resolve
quality issues promptly. Accurately record labor and production
data in the MES system to maintain reliable output tracking.
Degate, inspect, and package lenses with consistent attention to
quality and efficiency. You Have: High School Diploma or GED
Required. Minimum 1 year of prior experience in quality inspection
within a manufacturing environment; Background in optics
manufacturing preferred. Proven ability to identify cosmetic
defects and ensure components meet strict quality standards.
Skilled in safely removing, transporting, and packaging molded
parts without damage. Capable of monitoring and assisting with
machinery output to sustain consistent production flow. Competence
in recording labor and production data into MES or similar systems
with precision. Strong communication skills to work with
colleagues, report issues, and resolve quality concerns effectively

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the
employee is regularly required to stand, use hands & fingers,
handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee
frequently is required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk
and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include
close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception,
and ability to adjust focus. May involve prolonged periods of
magnified inspection (eye strain) Requires good hand-eye
coordination, arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including ability to
grasp. The job may involve prolong periods of standing. Highly
repetitive work, usually in a fixed body position for a sustained
period of time. The employee is frequently required to use the
computer. May involve the use of oils and solvents. Subject to some
soilage and irritation from cleaning solutions. (Lab Coats
provided) Generally works in a clean environment and works to
maintain the environment as such. Safety Glasses and hearing
protection are required May require area specific safety training
This position works in a manufacturing environment. The noise level
in the work environment is usually loud. The employee is regularly
exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne paper
particles. May work at different workstations as production needs
require, or shifts from one station to another, during the

Compensation details: 20-23 Hourly Wage
