Job Description:
Clean Harbors is seeking a motivated and attentive Driver Class
B Trainee to join our team, dedicated to fostering a sustainable
environment while enhancing public safety and health. As a Driver
Class B Trainee, you will undergo extensive training to gain
expertise in safely operating Class B vehicles under the guidance
of experienced professionals. This position presents a unique
opportunity to contribute to crucial environmental efforts while
building a sustainable career in transport and logistics. Complete
rigorous training on the operation of Class B vehicles and the
handling of hazardous materials. Assist in the collection and
transport of hazardous waste while adhering strictly to federal,
state, and local regulations. Perform routine vehicle inspection
and maintenance to ensure operational safety and efficiency.
Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to remain
updated on the latest environmental and safety regulations. Utilize
environmental protection measures to prevent contamination and
pollution during the transport of hazardous substances. Collaborate
with other team members to improve process efficiency and enhance
compliance with environmental standards. Basic mechanical aptitude
and ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance Strong attention
to detail and adherence to safety procedures Effective
communication skills for accurate and efficient reporting Ability
to navigate routes efficiently while respecting environmental
