Job Description Job Description Summary: The Warehouse Manager
oversees a 165,000 sq. ft. distribution facility managing
approximately 5,000 SKUs and high daily shipping volumes. This
leadership role is responsible for directing Shipping, Receiving,
Inventory, and Returns departments, including satellite storage
locations. The ideal candidate brings strong warehouse supervisory
experience, operational discipline, and the ability to optimize
workflow, labor efficiency, and inventory accuracy in a fast-paced
environment with seasonal fluctuations. What You’ll Do: Lead and
supervise department managers across Shipping, Receiving,
Inventory, and Returns. Oversee receiving operations, including 3–4
container trucks per day, ensuring accurate inspection, processing,
routing, and storage. Direct shipping operations handling up to
4,000 packages daily via FedEx, UPS, and USPS. Manage returns
processing of up to 400 packages per day, determining restock,
repair, or disposal disposition. Ensure inventory accuracy through
coordinated counts, replenishment oversight, and quality control
issue resolution. Optimize warehouse layout, organization, and
product retrieval systems to improve operational efficiency.
Develop and enforce warehouse policies and procedures. Create and
maintain workforce training programs, adjusting for seasonality and
labor demands. Partner with Facilities leadership to ensure
infrastructure supports operational needs. Monitor performance
metrics and implement process improvements across departments.
Experience You’ll Need: Prior supervisory experience in a
large-scale warehouse environment. Direct experience overseeing
receiving and/or shipping operations. Experience managing
high-volume daily shipping activity (multi-carrier). Strong
inventory control and cycle count oversight experience. Experience
supervising leadership-level staff. Computer proficiency required;
experience with RF scanners and inventory management software
preferred. Ability to work day shifts including occasional Sundays
and extended hours during peak seasons.
