Job Description Job Description Job Title : Training and Development Manager Location : Buffalo, NY Hire Type : Direct Hire Pay Range : $75,000 - $105,000 Work Type : Full-time Work Model : Onsite Work Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8am – 4:30pm Recruiter Contact : Amy Dugenske, ADugenske@imaginestaffing.net Nature & Scope: Positional Overview The Imagine Group is recruiting for a Training and Development Manager on behalf of our client, a leading nonprofit healthcare network based in Buffalo, New York , provides comprehensive medical services through a system of hospitals, outpatient clinics, long-term care facilities, and specialty care centers serving Western New York’s communities. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive revenue cycle training programs that strengthen employee performance across the organization. This role partners closely with leadership and department stakeholders to ensure training initiatives align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and evolving healthcare industry trends. The position also plays a key role in building a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and professional development. Role & Responsibility: Tasks That Will Lead to Your Success Design, implement, and continuously improve revenue cycle training programs aligned with organizational goals. Assess training needs across departments and develop targeted learning plans. Create engaging training materials including e-learning modules, workshops, job aids, and other resources. Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars for employees at various levels. Lead, mentor, and support training coordinators and specialists, including participation in hiring and onboarding. Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance data Track training metrics and outcomes to measure impact on employee performance and business results. Prepare and present training performance reports and recommendations to senior leadership. Manage the training budget to ensure efficient and cost-effective use of resources. Identify, select, and negotiate with external training vendors as needed. Implement feedback mechanisms to continuously enhance learning programs. Stay current on healthcare regulations, payer requirements, and industry trends impacting revenue cycle operations. Leverage technology and automation to modernize training delivery and content. Ensure compliance with safety policies and maintain a positive, professional work environment. Support special projects and additional initiatives as business needs require. Skills & Experience Qualifications That Will Help You Thrive Strong foundation in adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies. Proven ability to analyze data and translate insights into effective training strategies. Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills across diverse audiences. Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities. Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to synthesize complex information. Effective problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills. Comfortable communicating both one-on-one and in group settings. Proficiency with learning management systems and e-learning tools such as Articulate or Captivate. Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Education and Experience Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field with 1 to 3 years of experience in training and development, instructional design, revenue cycle, or a related area Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Education Business Administration or a related field with 5- 7 years' experience in training and development, instructional design, revenue cycle or a related field. High School Diploma with 8 to 10 years of relevant experience. Prior experience managing training programs and leading teams strongly preferred. Training and development certifications such as CPTM or ATD considered a plus.
