CT Tech Location: Geneva, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,146 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: CT/Rad Tech Profession: Radiologic Technologist Specialty: Acute: Tech: Rad Tech Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Full Time 3x12s (Friday, Saturday, Sunday weekly) Holiday rotation schedule Flexibility needed for occasional coverage Experience: Minimum 1 year of CT Tech experience with solid Rad Tech/X-Ray experience or C-Arm experience License: NYS License Certifications: ARRT, BLS Must-Have: - Minimum 1 year of CT Tech experience - Solid Rad Tech/X-Ray experience or C-Arm experience - NYS Licensure - BLS Certification - ARRT Certification Description: Performs technical radiographic assignments. Exercises complex skills, judgment, and knowledge of the principles and methods of CT and Radiologic Technology. Performs diagnostic radiographic studies as requested. Operates portable diagnostic radiographic equipment as needed. Performs Infection Control according to Universal Precautions. Must be able to provide care to infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Operates radiographic, CT, image processors, and other related equipment accurately across different modalities. Evaluates images for quality and demonstrates accuracy of positioning based on procedure guidelines. Provides clear and concise instructions during procedures to calm and relieve stress for patients. Maintains competency in two specific modalities. Ensures proper radiation protection is used for self, patients, and other personnel by employing appropriate techniques. Demonstrates flexibility in assuming emergency calls on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Demonstrates competency in RIS and PACS, utilizing systems to enter and edit patient exams and charges. Records appropriate data, scans documents, and makes notes. Responsible for performing radiographic and CT studies with and without IV contrast enhancement for various procedures. Follows NYSDOH Part 16 guidelines. Performs required quality control activities. Occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens is reasonably anticipated.
