Registered Nurse (RN) | Electrophysiology Lab Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,852 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified EP Lab RN in Rochester, New York, 14642! Job Title: Electrophysiology Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Electrophysiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12 hour shifts Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of experience License: Valid New York RN License Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association only) Must-Have: - Proficiency in moderate sedation - Ability to communicate effectively with medical staff - Experience coordinating with charge nurses and third-party vendors Description: The Electrophysiology RN will perform diagnostic electrophysiology procedures and interventions. Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures and ensuring all equipment is in working order. The RN will monitor read-outs or recordings during procedures. It is essential to assist with lab analysis and interpretation of data, reporting any issues to physicians. The role involves assisting physicians with device implementation related to cardiac health. The RN must facilitate timely patient care by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available. The Electrophysiology RN will assist in room turnover and ensure on-time starts for scheduled procedures. The RN will participate in maintaining sterile conditions during studies and ablations. Responsibilities include documenting during studies and ablations, as well as providing backup pacing during implants. Epic is the primary documentation system used for procedures. Experience with RF ablations, cryo ablations, and various device implants is beneficial. Preferred background includes cardiac implant or structural heart scrub experience. Familiarity with GE systems is a plus, but not required.
