Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 04/20/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours - Employment Type: Travel Allied Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available Opportunity: /n Nuclear Medical Technician /n/n Job Details: /n • Work Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM with 8-hour shifts /n• Start and end times can vary within the specified timeframe /n• No weekends, no call, and no holidays required /n• Review patient history and physician's orders /n• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams /n• Position patients and perform imaging procedures using proper techniques /n• Perform nuclear medicine imaging and therapy in accordance with scope and standards of practice /n• Analyze imaging results and identify quality issues /n• Take appropriate action to resolve image quality issues including repositioning patients and repeating procedures /n• Enter, transmit, and report scan results /n• Order, prepare, administer, store, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols /n• Monitor patient condition continuously and respond to changes in status /n• Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies in clinical nuclear medicine rooms /n• Must be certified as Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) by NMTCB or registered as Radiologic Technologist (RT) and certified in Nuclear Medicine (NM) by ARRT /n• NYS license required /n• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required /n• CT certification and PET/CT experience required /n• 2 years of nuclear medicine technologist experience required /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive imaging department that provides advanced nuclear medicine services to patients.
