Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience. • Travel experience is required from any number of months. • Experience with Epic is required from any number of months. • Acute care experience is required within the past 2 years. Requirements: • Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System. Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to take own patient assignment, with the support of an RN; Vital signs, pain assessment, intake/output monitoring, isolation precautions, physical restraints, specimen labeling, Oxygen administration via nasal cannula, Feeding tube management, Telemetry monitoring, 12-lead EKG; Medication administration (oral, IM, SQ, NG/G-tube, ear and eye drops), IV therapy with pumps, blood glucose monitoring; Wound care basics (simple dressings, JP/Hemovac drains), bathing and mouth care, Foley catheter insertion (male/female), clean catch urine collection, communication of status changes to RN/MD, MS/Tele care setting.
