Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Interventional Radiology - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/13/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology/n/n Location/n New York, NY /n/nAssignment Duration/n This is a 13-week contract position. /n/nSchedule/n 4x10.0 rotating shift, floating, including holidays, weekends, on call/callback, and charge per unit needs. /n/nJob Description/n This is a fast-paced pre/post interventional radiology department in a level 1 Trauma center. We cater to inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan. Nurses work within a multidisciplinary team and are responsible for the pre-procedural preparation of patients and post-procedural recovery and overnight observation care. Experience with GI post-procedural care is preferred but not required. We specialize in providing care for patients undergoing CT scans, MRIs, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-rays, and ultrasounds. Good communication skills, as well as the ability to critically think, are essential.
