of Registered Nursing experience, 2 years of Medical/Surgical
experience, Telemetry experience required License: New York RN
license Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association only), ACLS
(American Heart Association only) Must-Have: Good communication
skills, critical thinking ability, team-oriented, enthusiastic,
flexible, and organized Description: This is a fast-paced pre/post
interventional radiology department. The department caters to
inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan. Nurses
work within a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include the
pre-procedural preparation of patients and post-procedural recovery
and overnight observation care. Experience with GI post-procedural
care is preferred but not required. This is an exciting opportunity
for nurses who want to work in a high-energy environment. The team
specializes in providing care for patients undergoing CT scans,
MRIs, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-rays, and ultrasounds. BLS and ACLS
certifications are required. Candidates should be flexible and
organized. Medical/Surgical and telemetry experience is preferred.
Nurses are responsible for pre/post and 23-hour care for patients.
Care will be provided for patients boarding overnight pre or post
