Job Title: Dialysis Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Dialysis Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of charge nurse experience in a dialysis setting License: New York license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Charge nurse experience required Experience running a 4 patient assignment Ability to set up and operate Fresenius machines Experience in outpatient and chronic dialysis Description: We are seeking a Dialysis Registered Nurse to join our team. The position requires running a 4:1 assignment while serving as charge nurse for 21 stations. Schedule requests will be primarily Monday to Friday, with rotating Saturdays and occasional Sundays due to holidays. The candidate must be able to float to all dialysis locations as required. Experience in administering blood products and managing dialysis complications is essential. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in cannulating AV grafts and fistulas. Knowledge of dialysate conductivity testing and the operation of various alarms is critical. Candidates should be familiar with infection control protocols and patient management during dialysis treatments. The ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias is essential for providing safe patient care.
