Ability to communicate effectively with medical staff and ensure
availability of equipment and supplies Description: The
Electrophysiology Registered Nurse performs diagnostic
electrophysiology procedures and interventions. Your duties include
preparing the patient for procedures, ensuring that all equipment
is operational, and monitoring recordings during the procedure. You
will assist in analyzing and interpreting lab data and communicate
any issues to the physician. Collaboration with the Charge Nurse
and third-party vendors is essential to ensure timely patient care.
You will assist at the sterile field, prepping the patient and
equipment for studies and ablations. Maintaining fluids for the
ablation catheter and providing assistance with the ablator is a
key responsibility. In this primary role, you will stay focused on
the patient while assisting Anesthesia and documenting during
studies and ablations. Backup pacing during implants is also
required. Experience with Epic documentation is necessary.
Preferred qualifications include cardiac implant or structural
heart scrub experience and familiarity with GE systems. Typical
procedures include RF ablations and device implants such as
pacemakers and ICDs. You will be working with various mapping
systems and performing low-risk procedures. Requirements Required
