Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiac Catheterization Lab Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,004 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the cardiac catheterization lab. License: New York state license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Experience in both Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology. - Must have experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations. - Cannot accept profiles with only Interventional Radiology experience. Description: This position requires the ability to work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. On-call shifts are required, with an average of 8 to 10 call shifts per month, which includes one full weekend of coverage. Experience should include interventional cardiac catheterizations, diagnostic catheterizations, and various associated procedures. Skills needed include IABP placement, Impella insertion, pacemaker lead extraction, and percutaneous coronary interventions. Experience with monitoring and patient care, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, is essential for this role. Patient diagnoses will include cardiac patients requiring catheterizations and patients in the interventional radiology lab for various procedures. The candidate must be familiar with using electronic medical record systems for charting. All applicants must meet the experience and certification requirements stated. Local candidates within a specified radius are not accepted for this role. The ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team is crucial. The position requires adherence to infection prevention protocols and safety measures.
