Job Opportunity – Operating Room Surgical Technologist – New York Start Date: March 2, 2026 Location: Rochester, New York Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Block scheduling available (subject to facility needs); call required Highlights: Diverse multi-specialty OR experience with 14 operating rooms Work with advanced surgical technology including Da Vinci Xi Surgical System Comprehensive case mix across orthopedic trauma and total joint, neurosurgery, GYN/urology, vascular, and thoracic procedures Epic EMR system utilized throughout the facility Interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more Exposure to complex procedures including bariatric, ENT, general surgery, spine fusion, and microsurgical techniques Requirements: Minimum 3 years of recent operating room surgical technologist experience required Active New York State license required at time of submission Current BLS and CNOR certifications required Epic charting experience strongly preferred Previous travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted Demonstrated competency in orthopedic total joint and trauma, neurosurgery, GYN/urology, vascular, and thoracic procedures Experience with bariatric, ENT, and general surgery scrubbing required Proficiency with laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgical techniques Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility Limited requested time off; maximum 10 days RTO during assignment Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers an exceptional opportunity to work in a high-volume, diverse surgical environment where you'll utilize your full skill set across multiple specialties.
