Certification, ACLS, BLS required Must-Have: - Proficiency in EPIC
charting system - Previous charge experience preferred - Experience
with a patient ratio of 5 to 7 Description: The candidate will work
in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. The unit specializes in
the care of patients post-percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI),
pacemakers, ICDs, and post-myocardial infarction (MI). The patient
population includes those actively receiving chemotherapy,
recovering from side effects, and medical patients with underlying
cancer diagnoses. The candidate should be comfortable managing
patients in a 26-bed medical-surgical unit. There will be
opportunities for cross-training in other specialized areas,
including a developing bone marrow transplant program. The work
requires strong skills in oncology care, patient education, and
telehealth monitoring. The facility has a collaborative team
environment with supportive interdisciplinary teams available.
Candidates should be able to provide high-quality patient care and
demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic setting. This
position may require floating within the unit as needed.
