A K-12 school in Lockport, NY, is seeking qualified Occupational Therapists (OT) and Physical Therapists (PT) to provide specialized support for homeschool students. This contract role is for the current school year and involves delivering high-quality therapy sessions directly in students' homes, offering flexibility and a personalized approach to therapeutic care. Key Responsibilities: - Provide occupational therapy services to homeschool students, delivering approximately 10 sessions per week. - Facilitate physical therapy sessions for homeschool students, conducting about 4 sessions weekly. - Travel to various student homes within the Lockport area to administer therapy. - Collaborate with educational and clinical staff to customize therapy plans that support student goals. - Document and track progress according to school district requirements and professional standards. Qualifications and Experience: - Licensed Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist with current credentials. - Experience working with K-12 populations, particularly in school-based or home-based therapy settings. - Ability to travel locally to student residences. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with students, families, and educational staff. - Commitment to enhancing student development through evidence-based therapy methods.
