What You'll Do - Answer, assess and listen to customer questions, needs and concerns; show empathy in sensitive situations; strive to exceed expectations, provide alternative solutions to problems, and achieve the best possible outcome for customers - Provide counseling on prescriptions, relaying information to customers for success and confidence with at-home use of medication - Perform all necessary steps of workflow accurately and efficiently to ensure customers receive error-free products - Maintain product levels, improve efficiencies, seek continuous improvement opportunities, identify barriers to achieve goals, and escalate issues when appropriate - Support and stay current on company wellness initiatives; ensure consistency and execution and share best practices - Comply with all federal, state, and HIPAA regulations; ensure company guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures are followed - Verify potential licensing in any state Wegmans does business Requirements - Pharmacist State License-APhA-American Pharmacists Association - Certified Pharmacist Immunizer-AphA-American Pharmacists Association Required Education - Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) At Wegmans, we’ve always believed we can achieve our goals only if we first fulfill the needs of our people.
