working with Cynet Health to find a qualified MICU RN in Rochester,
New York, 14621! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in critical care nursing License:
New York State License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
Must-Have: Epic charting experience Description: Must have New York
license in hand. The specialty is MICU. Shifts consist of 4 nights
from 19:00 to 07:30. Weekend requirements include every other
weekend. Locals are not accepted, candidates must be over a 75-mile
radius. First-time travelers are accepted. The unit has 16 beds
with patients requiring care for conditions including sepsis, ARDS,
renal failure, heart failure, alcohol withdrawal, overdose,
multi-organ failure, and post-cardiac arrest. Nurse to patient
ratio is typically 1:2 with occasional 1:1 based on acuity.
Staffing includes various interdisciplinary support teams such as
IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more. Patient
diagnoses may involve respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, AKI,
overdose, sepsis, ARDS, and kidney failure. Special equipment
utilized includes CRRT, IABP, Impella, and ECMO. Care
responsibilities require interpretation and management of
dysrhythmias, arterial line management, central line care,
continuous IV sedation, and ventilator management. Isolation
precautions and PPE are necessary for certain cases. 5 Benefits of
