Job Description:
Hospitalist Opportunity Jones Memorial Hospital Wellsville, New
York 7 On / 7 Off 1-Year Contract Jones Memorial Hospital is
seeking a dedicated Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Hospitalist
to join its collaborative care team in Wellsville, NY. This
opportunity offers a structured week on / week off schedule with
24-hour shifts , strong APP support, and a welcoming community
hospital environment. Position Details Schedule: 24-hour shifts, 7
days on / 7 days off Contract: 1-year commitment required Start
Date: As soon as available Day Coverage (7a 7p): Hospitalist onsite
with 12-hour APP support Night Coverage (7p 7a): APP remains
on-site while Hospitalist is on call (must be within 20 minutes of
hospital) Admissions: 2 4 during the day; 1 3 overnight handled by
APP Call Volume: Not 100% predictable; APP manages majority of
overnight activity Patient Load: patients shared between
Hospitalist and APP ICU: 6-bed ICU with Pulmonologist on staff
Procedures: Not required, but helpful EMR: Epic Compensation &
Benefits Rate: $2,400 $2,500 per 24-hour shift Includes: $2,100 for
day coverage $400 overnight call stipend Travel & Lodging: Covered
Malpractice Insurance: Provided, including full tail coverage
Requirements Active New York State medical license Commitment to
full 7 on / 7 off schedule Ability to manage inpatient care in a
team-based model Comfortable with overnight call coverage
(off-site) This is a great opportunity for a Hospitalist who values
consistency, autonomy, and a supportive team structure while
enjoying flexibility during overnight call hours. The role is best
suited for someone comfortable working closely with experienced
APPs and practicing in a community-focused setting.
