Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist Level II for a travel job in Rochester, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 02/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician /n/n Job Details: /n • Monday through Friday schedule between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM with 8-hour shifts /n• Start and end times can vary within the operational hours /n• No weekends, no call, and no holiday work required /n• Review patient history and physician's orders /n• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams /n• Position patients and perform imaging procedures /n• Ensure proper imaging techniques based on patient age and abilities /n• Perform nuclear medicine imaging and therapy according to scope and standards /n• Analyze results and identify image quality issues /n• Reposition patients and repeat procedures when necessary /n• Enter, transmit, and report scan results /n• Order, prepare, administer, store, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals /n• Monitor patient condition and respond to status changes /n• Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies in Clinical Nuclear Medicine rooms /n• Must be certified as Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) by NMTCB or registered as Radiologic Technologist (RT) with Nuclear Medicine certification by ARRT /n• NYS License required /n• BLS (American Heart Association) certification required /n• 2 years of nuclear medicine technology experience required /n• CT certification and PET/CT experience preferred /n/n Facility: /n This academic medical center operates a comprehensive imaging department that provides advanced nuclear medicine services to patients throughout the region.
