Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department Level II for a travel nursing job in Penn Yan, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, rotating - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - Acute Care /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour shifts with day/night/weekend/holiday rotation from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM /n• Guaranteed 36 hours per week /n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Stroke Certification (AHA or RQI only), NYS RN Licensure, NIHSS /n• Minimum one year acute hospital experience as a registered professional nurse required /n• Two years emergency department experience preferred /n• Apply nursing theory, technical, and communication skills in delivering high-quality compassionate care /n• Assess patient needs and identify urgent or emergent care priorities /n• Perform triage using ESI standards and assign priority of care for patients of all age groups /n• Conduct primary and secondary assessments, detecting major deviations from normal conditions /n• Utilize invasive and non-invasive procedures, treatments, and therapeutic interventions /n• Manage life-threatening and routine emergency situations /n• Assess physiological, psychosocial, emotional, and cultural needs of patients and families /n• Provide patient and family education for discharge planning and home care continuation /n• Maintain patient communication boards and provide frequent updates throughout ED stay /n• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive emergency department providing emergency and acute care services to the community.
