Schedule Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00). Job Description This position is for a 14-bed overflow unit designed to accommodate ED boarder patients. The unit will function as a med/surg telemetry space and may adapt in terms of patient volume based on demand. Responsibilities - Provide nursing care to patients in a med/surg telemetry unit. - Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient status. - Assist in managing peripheral lines and administering oxygen and airway management. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, respiratory services, and pharmacy. - Participate in rapid response and code teams as needed. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a telemetry or med/surg setting. - Current BLS certification. - Epic charting experience is required. - NY State RN license required in hand to submit.
