Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,914 per week Shift Information: Nights - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year of experience required License: State license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Competence in placing IVs - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Management of dysrhythmias - Use of Rapid Response/Code teams - Peripheral Line Care/Management - Nasal Cannula and Oxygen administration - Non-invasive airway management - Knowledge of Isolation Precautions Description: This is a 14-bed overflow unit designed to accommodate patients from the emergency department. This will be a medical/surgical telemetry unit. The unit will serve as a flexible space, responding to changes in patient demand and overflow numbers. The patient ratio during night shifts is typically 7:1. Staff will be expected to float as needed throughout the unit. Previous charge experience is preferred but not mandatory. The facility supports interdisciplinary teams, including various services to assist patient care. The unit primarily serves adult and geriatric populations. Patients admitted may vary in condition based on overflow from the emergency department.
