Aimic Inc is seeking a travel CT Technologist Lead for a travel job in Rochester, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel CT Tech in Rochester, NY Monday – Thursday 9:30pm – 8am EST; on call, callback, holidays per unit needs Pay: $80/Hr. 13 weeks contract with possible extension. 40 Guaranteed hours per week. CT Technologist Duties and Responsibilities: - Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan; strictly adhering to department policy and procedure for patient safety - Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging. - Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure tohelp them feel comfortable. - Insert IVs when necessary for the test. - Positions patients accordingly, which may include lifting or moving patients with limited mobility; must utilize safe patient handling. - Maintains accurate patient record keeping by properly documenting all necessary components within EPIC to include identifying images and assuring images are sent to the PACS system correctly upon exam completion. - Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility. Requirements: - Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology and maintains Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). - CT Tech License (NY ONLY) - NYS licensure (must obtain PRIOR to starting position) - Two (2) Years' Experience - Level 1 Trauma Center Experience - BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) About Aimic Inc Aimic provides essential support by connecting healthcare facilities with qualified professionals.
