Job Description MedAdventures is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Olean, New York. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Speech-Language Pathologist Role $2,200 per week About the Opportunity We’re looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a skilled nursing facility setting. As part of the Medadventures network, you’ll help residents regain communication and swallowing function, improve their quality of life, and receive the compassionate care they deserve. Responsibilities Evaluate residents to determine speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Provide direct therapy and monitor resident progress toward goals. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PTs, OTs, nursing staff, and physicians. Document evaluations, treatments, and progress notes in accordance with facility and payer requirements. Educate residents, families, and staff on communication and swallowing strategies. Qualifications Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Active SLP license in the state of practice. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred. Prior SNF experience preferred but not required—new grads are encouraged to apply! Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills. Why Choose MedAdventures?
