Location: Rochester, NY 14621-3099 Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 -
07:00) Travel Pay Rate: $3200 weekly ($35.75/hr on w2 $1484/week
stipend) Job Type: 13-week Contract Position Summary: These nurses
MUST start on 8/5 or 8/12 with the preference being 8/5. They MUST
have worked in the acute care setting within the past 6 months Need
to be able to take a 1:5 to 1:7 patient ratio for Med Surg MUST be
proficient in EPIC Cannot have RTO for labor day Key
Responsibilities: Tracking routine heart rate, blood pressure, and
pulse oximetry measurements. Monitoring, interpreting, and
recording data from specialized medical technologies and equipment.
Administering medication and performing treatment interventions in
consultation with healthcare specialists. Maintaining and updating
ward charts, patient files, and medical records. Changing
dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs. Adjusting
specialized medical equipment as needed, as well as interpreting
and recording measurements. Monitoring patients' vitals and
reporting adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner.
Collaborating on discharge planning with the healthcare team.
Answering questions and educating patients and their families on
surgical procedures and post-surgery care. Required Qualifications:
BLS RN New York State licensed Hospital Highlights: Type of
