Job Title: Level 2 Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical Float Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Rotating Shift Schedules Hours per Shift: 12.0 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License (New York Only) Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association Only), Telemetry Experience Required Must-Have: - Two years of experience - NY RN License - BLS Certification - Telemetry Experience Description: The Level 2 Registered Nurse is accountable for the provision of competent care based on established standards. This role involves clinical practice, service excellence, and professional development. The Level 2 Registered Nurse may take on expanded roles, including charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities. Every other weekend, holidays, and on-call duties may be required. The nurse is expected to uphold research and evidence-based practice in all aspects of patient care.
