Job Description WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg for a local contract nursing job in Geneva, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Med/Surg Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Geneva, NY. Job Function: /n - Day Shift or Night Shift. /n - 7am - 7pm / 7pm - 7am. /n - Prepare and administer prescribed medications orally, subcutaneously, or intravenously, and accurately document administration. /n /n - Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report in accordance with nursing protocols. /n /n - Educate patients on upcoming surgical procedures and post-operative care. /n /n - Record patients’ medical information, including vital signs and clinical observations. /n /n - Operate and adjust specialized medical equipment; interpret and document electronic readings. /n /n /n - /n /n Job Requirements: /n - Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or holder of a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). /n /n - Active RN license in the state of New York. /n /n - 2 years of acute Med/Surg nursing experience required. /n /n - BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association. /n /n /nDisclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
