Job Description Job Description About the Role: The
Manufacturing Engineer plays a critical role in optimizing and
advancing manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality production
and operational efficiency. This position is responsible for
leading engineering initiatives that improve product design, reduce
costs, and enhance manufacturing throughput. The role involves
collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including design,
quality, and production to implement innovative solutions and
troubleshoot complex manufacturing challenges. The Manufacturing
Engineer will also mentor junior engineers and contribute to
strategic planning for manufacturing capabilities and capacity
expansion. Ultimately, this role drives continuous improvement
efforts that support the company’s commitment to excellence and
customer satisfaction. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in
Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related
field. At least 10years of experience in a manufacturing
engineering role within a relevant industry. Strong knowledge of
manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment. Solid modeling
experience using Solid Works, Pro E, Inventor, or equivalent
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous
improvement methodologies. Preferred Qualifications : Certification
such as Six Sigma Black Belt or Certified Manufacturing Engineer
(CMfgE). Experience with automation and robotics integration in
manufacturing. Previous experience leading projects.
Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement manufacturing
processes and equipment to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to address
production issues and minimize downtime. Collaborate with product
design teams to ensure manufacturability and cost-effective
production methods. Develop and maintain process documentation,
work instructions, and training materials for manufacturing teams.
Manage and oversee pilot runs and new product introductions to
ensure smooth transition to full-scale production. Mentor and
provide technical guidance to junior engineers and manufacturing
staff. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to evaluate and
implement new manufacturing technologies and materials. Skills: The
Manufacturing Engineer utilizes strong analytical and
problem-solving skills to identify inefficiencies and develop
innovative solutions that enhance production quality and
throughput. Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies supports
continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, project
management and organizational skills are applied to oversee new
product introductions and process upgrades, ensuring timely and
successful execution. Pay Range: $90,000-115,000. The referenced
pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this
job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the
job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering
factors including, but not limited to, market data, education,
experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and
internal equity considerations. Physical Requirements: While
performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly
required to sit for extended periods, use hands to operate a
computer and other office equipment, and communicate effectively
via phone and email. The employee may occasionally be required to
stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and lift or move items
