Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Providing
specialized speech-language support through teletherapy, this role
focuses on assisting students in a Regional Day School Program for
the Deaf (RDSPD) serving K-12 students in Irving, TX. The position
supports the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) population by
delivering tailored speech and language interventions remotely,
emphasizing American Sign Language fluency to meet students unique
communication needs. Key Responsibilities: Conducting speech
therapy sessions via teletherapy platforms for students in the DHH
program. Collaborating with educators and support staff to develop
Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that address students
communication goals. Monitoring and documenting student progress,
adjusting therapy plans based on outcomes. Utilizing expertise in
American Sign Language (ASL) to enhance communication and
engagement. Maintaining compliance with relevant educational and
licensing standards. Required Qualifications: Active Texas
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license. Fluency in American Sign
Language (ASL) or certification in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Therapy
(DHHT). Experience working with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
student population preferred. Strong skills in teletherapy delivery
and technology. Ability to work full-time hours (37.5 hours per
week) in a contract role through the end of May. Location: Irving,
Texas (Remote teletherapy service delivery). Benefits and
