Job Description Job Description Job Title: HVAC Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. This role offers an opportunity for growth and development within a supportive environment. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units and heating systems. Diagnose issues with HVAC equipment and perform necessary repairs or routine inspections to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to design efficient HVAC solutions for various environments. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to refrigeration and boiling systems. Drive company vehicles to job sites as needed, ensuring safe transport of tools and equipment. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during service calls. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs. Essential Skills 5 years of service or installation experience in HVAC. EPA Type II Certification. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Additional Skills & Qualifications Managerial mindset with the ability to develop a service department. Familiarity with installation techniques for air conditioning and heating units. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Certification or relevant training in HVAC technology is preferred but not mandatory. Why Work Here? The position requires a Monday to Friday schedule, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Company vehicles will be provided for travel to job sites. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Shortsville, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $83200.00/yr.
