Job Description:
Sodexo is seeking a dynamic General Manager 1 in the Healthcare
& Medical industry who will oversee facilities and maintenance
operations at a healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will be
responsible for ensuring that all facilities management duties are
carried out in alignment with Sodexo’s mission to improve quality
of life, enhance efficiency, productivity, and foster well-being
across our services. This role requires an individual committed to
delivering high-quality service that meets healthcare regulatory
standards and ensures a safe, efficient, and pleasant environment
for patients and staff. Manage daily operations of the facilities
and maintenance department within a healthcare environment. Ensure
compliance with health and safety regulations. Develop and
implement maintenance strategies to improve facility efficiency and
reliability. Lead, train, and motivate staff to achieve high
performing team results. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and
financial reporting for the facilities department. Coordinate with
healthcare administrators to meet the facility’s operational needs.
Regularly inspect and evaluate physical conditions of the facility;
schedule repairs and maintenance for optimal operation. Liaise with
contractors and service providers, ensuring service agreements are
fulfilled and compliant with standards. Strong leadership and
organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills Proficiency in managing budgets and cost control Knowledge
of healthcare industry standards and regulations related to
facilities management Strong problem-solving skills and the ability
to make decisions in a fast-paced environment Medical Insurance

Facility Manager (CHFM) Membership in professional bodies such as
